The Institute is approved by AICTE, New Delhi vide a letter no. F-740-89-165 E ET/97 dated Aug. 28,1997 and recognized by the Govt. of Maharashtra vide letter on. 2/NJP/1097/36377 dated Oct 08, 1997., Shri Gulabrao Deokar Polytechnic, Jaigaon., formerly known as Shri Sureshdada Jain Polytechnic is established on August 28,1997 by Shrikrishna Educational & Cultural Mandal,founded by President Shri.
