One of the new gems was added in the crown of KCE Society in 2010 when the Post Graduate College of Science, Technology and Research were established in Jalgaon by the Khandesh College Education Society. This not only added quantitatively to the pursuits of already well acclaimed KCE Society in the academic field, but also proved a qualitative milestone. The college received recognition from the Government of Maharashtra vides their GR No. N.G.C/2010/ (7/10). 15 July 2010 to start Post graduate programs in Rural Development, Organic Chemistry, Microbiology, Biotechnology and Geo-informatics. We also added Statistics and mathematics in 2018.

Under the Global Visionary Management of Khandesh College Education Society, Jalgon, the KCES College of Education & Physical Education has started its beginning of training the teachers for tomorrow from the year 1965. The college is recognized by the Government and recognized under section 2(f) and section 12 B of the UGC act. The College is a grant in aid and permanently affiliated to K.B.C. North Maharashtra University, Jalgaon. In the year 1989 the college has started unaided division. The total intake capacity of B.Ed. is 150 students. The college has also started M.Ed. section in the year 2009, which is also affiliated to K.B.C. North Maharashtra University, Jalgaon. The intake capacity of the M.Ed. programmes is 50 students.

The College is bestowed with the status as CTE (College for teacher Education) by the HRD Ministry of Central Government. The Extension Service Centre of the College, which is patron aged by the State Government of Maharastra, caters to the in service training for secondary school teachers of Jalgaon District. The education in the distant mode is undertaken by the college with the help of IGNOU, YCMOU.

In the year 2015 K.C.E.S. Eklavya College of Education is merged in this college with approval of NCTE, UGC & KBC NMU, Jalgaon & Govt. of Maharashtra. Now the college also conduct the programme for B.P.Ed. Intake with 100 & M.P.Ed. Intake with 30 Students for 2 years duration & are recognised by NCTE.

The college is situated in the 26 Acers of beautiful academic campus centrally located in Jalgaon city and district headquarters. The college campus is 2.6 K.M. away from the Jalgaon Railway stations. The College campus is well equipped with the necessary facilities like Gymkhana, spacious play ground, Indoor & Outdoor sports facility, Bank, Canteen, vehicle parking facilities and ultra modern Ladies and Gents Hostels. The College is situated along with Primary School, Secondary School and College buildings in the campus.

The College has incorporated several quality initiatives in all the three dimensions of the teacher education, namely teaching, research and extension. The progress and achievements of our college lies in its consistence efforts, struggle and perseverance in maintain the quality of Teacher Education.

The College has set high standards for itself in teaching, learning & research. The teaching learning process is facilitated with the usage of latest technology. Information Communication Technology with conventional teaching technology along with incorporating inputs from contemporary research. The efforts of the highly qualified and innovative teacher educators of the college, is self evident in the quality results of the students in the University examination.
