MGM Institute of Physiotherapy was established in 2006 in MGM campus Aurangabad with the permission of Maharashtra Government, Medical education and Drugs Department vide their G.R.No.PSO-1304/63/PK/14/2005/Education -1 dated 26-10-2005 and affiliated to Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS), Nashik, vide their letter no. MUHS/PB/UG/603/2006 Dated 8-6-2006. The undergraduate program for BPT was started in the year 2006 with intake capacity of 30. The department of physiotherapy at MGM, Aurangabad has all the facilities of academic, clinical and research for undergraduate (BPTh).

MGM Institute of Physiotherapy has always laid emphasis not only on academics but also on co-curricular activities, aiming at an all-round development of students. The success is a result of efforts of the students, experienced staff which is aided by the conductive ambiance of well-equipped laboratories and the state of art infrastructure. MGM`s Physiotherapy has highly experienced staff who had various publications in International and National Journals. The achievements of the student are in academy and cultural program in all round College and inter college programs.

MGM Institute of physiotherapy continues to provide a variety of stimuli to facilitate an overall development of the students and make them complete professionals. We conducts various academic events for the benefit of UG students, Interns and PG students.

Student graduating from the Institute will have the required skills to deliver the quality Health care to all sections of the society with compassion and benevolence, without Prejudice or discrimination at an affordable cost.

As a Research Centre, it shall focus on finding better, safer and affordable ways of Diagnosing, treating and preventing diseases. In doing so, it will maintain highest ethical Standards.
