Located in ‘Vikramshila Polytehnic’, derives its name from the erstwhile 8th Century AD renowned university of ancient India, well-known world over for its real-world, useful, and functional tantrik technical skills, a knowledge system oriented by deep philosophical ruminations. Having logically sound bearing and based on scientific approaches, the knowledge system is today recognised as far advanced in time and space showing unusual visionary capacities of its proponent and practitioners. However, now it is a name given to a town situated in the state of Bihar (India). Our visionary, Dadasaheb Gawai, paved way for laying its foundation in the year of 2012 Vikramshila Polytechnic, today facilitates technical education for the youth who cannot make it to undergraduate B. E. or B. Tech elite or costly programmes because of various reasons and need an affordable, authentic and dependable institute. The institute houses four departments, supported by well-equipped labs, workshop floors, and all needed accessories to prepare students for various engineering related functional skills. In the past decade, it has prepared thousands of young engineering professionals/mechanics and is in great demand in the area.
