Shree Janata Homoeopathic Medical College, Akola has been established in the year 1959 & is devoted in the education of Homoeopathy & its progress Late Dr. K.G.Pathak & Dr. D.S. Nanoti were founder members of this institution, whose contribution to Homoeopathy is memorable. The institution conducts BHMS degree course & is recognized by Central Council of Homoeopathy, New Delhi & Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik. The college has 20 bedded hospital attached to it. The service has enormously grown up in patient care, knowledge care & learned care. Thousands of patients are treated free of cost through village health centers & monthly medical camps organized by the faculty & students of this college. The hospital has mobile medico Van & provides regular health services to ailing masses in rural & urban areas by the way of arranging free Homoeopathic diagnostic & treatment camps. Seminars, regular clinical meetings, round table discussions, Quiz contest for students are the regular activities of the college to increase & up date knowledge of students as well as of the teaching & Non Teaching staff. The library which is our pride, is a treasury of near about 5265 books of new & Old collections of Homoeopathy & Other field.
