Pravara Rural College of Pharmacy has its origin in 1981-82 when Diploma in Pharmacy Course was established as one of the seven disciplines in Padmashri Dr. Vitthalrao Vikhe Patil Institute of Technology & Engineering (Polytechnic) at Pravaranagar by Padmabhushan Shri. E. V. alias Balasaheb Vikhe Patil, Ex. Minister, Heavy Industries & Public Enterprises, Govt. of India to meet the demands of Pharmacist of this rural area.The Pravara Rural College of Pharmacy, (Diploma Course), Pravaranagar started in August, 1981 is the institution under the technical education complex developed by The Pravara Rural Education Society.The Society was established in 1964 by the Late Padmashri Dr. Vitthalrao Eknathrao Vikhe Patil, who was also the founder of the Padmashri Dr. Vitthalrao Vikhe Patil Sahakari Sakhar Karkhana.The society has been registered both under the Societies Registration act 1860 and the Bombay Public Trust Act 1950.

It is my pleasure to welcome you to Pravara Rural College of Pharmacy (Diploma). Our college is established in the year 1981 and it has come a long way in extending services to health care needs of the society by creating dedicated and qualified pharmacy professionals. This is a moment of exuberance as the college has celebrated golden jubilee year of Pravara Rural Education Society in academic year 2014-15. We always strive hard for excellence by adopting, implementing a system that ensures a perpetual improvement in the quality of education. We have devoted senior faculty, spacious and well equipped laboratories, modern class rooms and library to cater the needs of students.

Diploma in Pharmacy program offers a dynamic curriculum as per the regulations of Pharmacy Council of India, New Delhi. We prepare students for practice in community pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Industry, Research Center and Hospitals.

Our aim is learning for life that inspires us to develop students with skills to learn and adapt new things in an ever changing world and same time being lifelong learner.
