Doranacharya Academey, Dhana was established in 2009 and this is a Private college. The College offers undergraduate course in education. The College was founded to serve the education in the region. The college is well equipped with all modern facilities and imparts variety of teaching and learning techniques for the betterment of the Students.

Dronacharya Academy, BEd College is managed by ''Maa vindhya Vasinee Shiksha Avm Samajothhan Smiti" Dhana Distt.-Sagar MP, registered under Madhya Pradesh Society Registration act no.6130/07. dated: 14.08.2007. College is affiliated to Dr Harisingh Gour univesity and approved by the National Council for Teacher Education and MP Government. Dronacharya Academy was established in the academic year 2009 - 2010 by by ''Maa vindhya Vasinee Shiksha Avm Samajothhan Smiti" Dhana Distt.-Sagar MP.

The institute strives to provide quality education, thereby providing quality Teacher Education, which in turn ensures better productivity and thus a better quality life to the associated people. Hence a better society on the basis of above facts ''Maa vindhya Vasinee Shiksha Avm Samajothhan Smiti decided to start a programme of Teacher Education which would fulfill the purpose of a teacher preparation to develop in each student his general education and personal culture, his constructive and creative freedom to innovate, to devise appropriate methods of communication, activities relevant to the need, capabilities and the concerns of the community.
