Situated in Rewa MP, National BEd College was established on August 2005. It is affiliated to the Awadhesh Pratap Singh University and approved by the National Council of Teacher Education NCTE. The College is co-educational for BEd & MEd courses and at present has a capacity of 100 in BEd and 40 in MEd.

National BEd College which began as a modest building today possess an efficient infrastructure which includes spacious and well lit classrooms, Science laboratories and a language lab, library, computer room, recreation room, auditorium, and a spacious ground.

The College has a well-stocked library possessing a rich collection of books and journals that cover the B.Ed and MEd syllabus as well as reference books in various subjects.

Education is the fifth basic need of a human being. From the beginning of human existence generation after generation the enlightened one passed on their store of knowledge and wisdom to train the mindset of the citizens. The college is providing quality Teacher Education, which in turn ensures better productivity and thus a better quality life to the associated people.

The College believes in involving the teacher trainees at each step in teaching learning process so that the understanding is not merely for namesake but imbibed and imprinted forever. At college teacher trainees are trained in going beyond curriculum, beyond the blackboard. Here we try to adhere to really high quality of teaching methods. We believe that what is taught in class no doubt helps to think to the best of one’s abilities. But if we really want the teacher trainees to broaden their knowledge horizon, then as teachers we should encourage the students to think out of the box and this is only possible if the teacher trainees are trained to go beyond the prescribed syllabus.
