      About Government Polytechnic College, Mandsaur

      Mandsaur is known for its archaeological and historical heritage reachness. It is famous for two different things one for OPIUM cultivation and another the temple of Lord Pashupatinath located on the bank of shivna river. The Pashupatinath temple is known for Lord SHIVA . Another famous temple in Mandsaur is Nalchha Mata. The most common language is Malvi (Rajasthani and Hindi Mixed). It is also famous for large production of Opium around the world. Earlier days when slates were commonly used for teaching the slate pencil industry was flourishing in Mandsaur and even now it has got its roots in Mandsaur and is the main industry of the district.The District Collector has allotted 5 Acre of land vide letter no. 182 dt. 5.02.2010 for constructing the building and college campus .
