The College of Materials Management (CMM), Jabalpur is a premier training institute of the Indian Army. Established in the year 1925, it has been conducting several courses in management education, for defence personal from both India and abroad. The college is situated atop the picturesque "SitaPahari". The sprawling campus corpeted by lush green grass and complemented by the verdure of the woods in the distance, is spread over 1327 acres. The environs instill tranquillity and nurture the right perspective, so conducive to the intellectual development of the students. In addition to the highly qualified core faculty members, the college is being visited by faculty members of renowned institutes like Asian Institute of Manila, IIMS, XLRI, MDI, SP Jain Institute of Management Research, Bombay, etc. and highly experienced in dustrialists. Students exchange programmes are being organized in collaboration with the above leading institutes. The process of selection of students at FOMS (CMM) is scientifically designed and totally transprent. A written Test (WAT) is conducted at ALL India Level at 34 Centres and on the basis of their performance in the WAT, candidates are shorts listed for Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview. The list of the students finally selected is drawn on the basis of overall merit. The college is permanently offiliated to University of Jabalpur RDW. It functions as an autonomous institute and is registered as an independent " Government College" with the University Grants Commission.
