The M.B.A. Programme has established a sound reputation for innovative teaching, research and enterprise in many functional areas. The strategic location of the place, the close proximity to capital of has added to the inherent advantage of the institute., About the Institute of Management Initially, The programme of MBA was started by the institute of Management in 1987 on self-financing basis. Up to 1994 the Combined courses continued. The institute of Management, which was established for the purpose of providing higher education in Commerce & Management, now imparts various programmes for the benefit of students who want to make their career in Business and Industry. The institute has been playing a significant role in providing continuous stream of trained and qualified executives to the managerial needs of Industry & Business establishment's w.e.f. March 1994. The MBA programme of the University was accredited by AICTE and subsequently it was approved and financed by University Grants Commission, New Delhi also w.e.f. 1st June 1997. The University into a full-fledged institute of Management has converted the Faculty of Management.
