The Chairman of the Samiti Dr. Dwarka Prasad Sharma had the vision of seeing the state of Madhya Pradesh on the global map of Technological Excellence. And to make his dream come true he chose the noble path of imparting Technical Education to the students from across the nation in general and from the state established in the year 2003. That was the era when All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) had the vision of establishing sufficient number of Engineering Colleges at PAN India of M.P. in particular., GEC was incepted in 2003, with 4 branches of B.E. course, namely Electronics & Communication, Mechanical, Computer Science & Engg & Information Technology. Within next 4 years the college took off to new heights and found its name in the 100 best Engineering Colleges in the country., Vision, To be a leader in the area of Technical Education with a commitment to serve the nation by virtue of providing technical personnel who can make the nation strong enough to stand at par with any developed nation in the world, Mission, To provide an experience that inspires students to reach for the highest level of accomplishment and personal growth throughout their lives., To provide an environment that enables students and faculty members to make lasting contributions to the advancement of knowledge and the creative practice of engineering., To share the fruits of our efforts in order to enhance the public understanding of technology and to facilitate its use on behalf of society., To create and maintain a diverse collegial community that recognizes and values the contribution of each individual., To do all of the above with integrity.
