Government Homoeopathic Medical College & Hospital, Bhopal, M.P was established in the year between 1990 – 91 as an Autonomous Organization under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Govt. of Madhya Pradesh. It is the only Government college in the state of Madhya Pradesh.

The Institute is affiliated to Barkatullah University and presently conducting Bachelor of Homoeopathy and Surgery i.e BHMS Direct since 1990 and Paramedical courses namely Homoeopathic Compounder Training since 12 years and afterwards Medical Laboratory Technician, X- ray Technician, Yoga and Naturopathy since 5 Years.

The infrastructure includes Undergraduate and Postgraduate wing comprising of office, college, hospital and auditorium sections. The total build up area of undergraduate and postgraduate wing is about 15000 Sq.m.

There are three stair type seminar halls; each of them has about 300 seating capacity. The hospital having an outpatient and a 150 bedded inpatients department along with necessary sub departments as prescribed by Central Council of Homoeopathy.

The Institute is built up at its own campus measuring about 50 acres joint campus for Ayurveda, Homoeopathy and Unani of land at AYUSH Campus, beside Kaliasot dam, MACT Hills, Bhopal, MP.

A 250 seated three storied girls hostel is functioning at the same campus. A three storied Homoeopathic Pharmacy building is under construction.
