Govt. Polytechnic College Bhind is located at Lahar Road at about 7 kms from Railway Station & 5 kms from Bus Stand . Previously it was known as Govt. womens Polytechnic established is the year 2000. Initially it was run in a small portion of KILA building located in the city . In 2005 its own building took shape in 9.5 acre land near I.T.I. & Kendriya Vidhyalaya at Lahar Road. Due to Shortage of ladies candidate to seek admission, the Govt. took decesion to convert it into a special co-education polytechnic named as Govt. Polytechnic college & the speciality is in admission, where priority is given to ladies candidates . Now it has a 60 seater girls hostel ( st present vacant ) & one more 50 seater hostel is praposed to be built in near future .
