KKHSOU offers two Master's programmes in Economics viz., MA in Economics and MA in Applied Economics. Economics is one of the major disciplines in social sciences. As a branch of social sciences, the study of Economics has to evolve to keep back of the changes in this fast changing and dynamic society. Economics has played a central role in the understanding of the emerging issues like globalisation and the emergence of World Trade Organisation (WTO), as well as in forwarding the developmental debates with greater emphasis on human and social wellbeing. Keeping this in view, the programme MA in Economics has been designed to accomplish the goal of developing the desired theoretical background in the subject as well as helping the learners to comprehend some of the issues the study of Economics is meant for.
