Al Shifa College of Paramedical Sciences was started in the year 2004 with the mission of Providing effective and integrated Medical education and training to students for innovative approaches leading to professional careers in the field of Paramedical sciences. The Institute offers B.Sc.MLT, a four years Degree Course in Medical Lab Technology and two and half years integrated Diploma course in Operation Theatre Technology (DOTT), two year Diploma course in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT) and two year Diploma Course in Radiological Technology (DRT). All the above courses are approved by the Government of Kerala, Directorate of Medical Education, Kerala State Paramedical Council and affiliated to University of Calicut/Kerala University Health and Allied Sciences. The courses are designed to provide wide spectrum of exposure to relevant to the medical field through the concept of object-oriented management. The course involves in depth study of subjects in the relevant field. The college management has taken adequate care in providing with ample opportunities to learn through the job training and practice state of the art equipments and laboratory facilities.

The college is housed in a spacious building of its own with hostel, library, transportation and mess facilities. The Laboratories has all the requisites with state of the art facilities. More number of such courses is also under way.
