Kasargod District is one of the districts of the Indian state of Kerala. Average literacy rate of Kasaragod in 2011 were 90.09 compared to 84.57 of 2001. If things are looked out at gender wise, male and female literacy were 94.05 and 86.49 respectively. There are fairly good number of colleges in Kasaragod.
