CIMC believe in excellence in education; An education, which is both knowledge and utility oriented. CIMC takes all pains to update its course contents on a regular basis, increase the practical components of its professional training, and bring the institutes as close to the industry as possible. And, we have been achieving remarkable success as far as our recognition in industrial circles is concerned. Professionals from the industry constitute a bulk of our visiting faculty. There are several study tours to corporate houses and internships in some of these houses to help the trainees get acquainted with actual work-environment and also initiate the process of their placements.

Integrated Marketing Communication has gone beyond all rules of mass media training and education. Our syllabus ventures in to all the areas of Mass Communication: Print-Cyber & Broadcast Journalism, Film & Video Production, Advertising-Public Relations & Corporate Communications giving a balanced emphasis to each of them. So, there is the need to equip us, in theory and practice, to be able to measure up to the changing demands of the industry. And, we are ready to embark on an exciting and committed journey, with an aim to know, imbibe and practice the various forms and levels of Mass Communication, and specialize in one of them. There is no moment to lose as the decade demands exorbitantly high standards of theory, practice and technology from those in media and communication.

CIMC curriculum focuses on three different learning processes: learning from theory, learning from cases and learning from fellow trainee’s experience. We aim to facilitate reflective professionalism through numerous assignments and many interactive case studies.

Our avowed mission at CIMC is to produce communication professionals who will fulfill the needs of the industry in terms of their holistic knowledge, their specialized skills in specific areas of media, their technology skills and inter-personal relations, and their culture/code of conduct.

Hence, there is the need to equip ourselves, in theory and practice, in order to be able to measure up in these changing times. Hence there is no moment of respite as the last decade has revolutionized Mass Communication worldwide, and the ensuing decade shall demand exorbitantly high standards of theory, practice and technology from those in media and communication.

Communication is a cause today. The presence or absence of the right communication is important for a corporate house or performance of an organization. Industry is gradually waking up to the need for trained and efficient communication professionals with the right professional attitudes. And, hence, there is a constant need for closer industry-institute linkage in multifarious ways, and constant upgradation of academic and practical components of the training in mass communication.
