The Amrita School of Arts and Sciences, Mysore is part of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, a University accredited by NAAC with the highest grade of A. The university was started by the Chancellor of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Satguru Sri Mata Amritanandamayi Devi, affectionately called Amma, is known the world over for her extraordinary acts of love and self-sacrifice. Amma�s compassion crosses all barriers of nationality race, caste and religion. She has initiated and inspired a vast network of charitable activities in India & Abroad.As Chancellor of the University, Amma continues to guide its mission and growth.The University has come to be known today as one of India's leading research and teaching universities.

The University has Thirteen thousand students enrolled in over a hundred programs, including bachelors, masters, doctoral.Faculty includes doctorates from leading universities world-wide; many are engaged in research projects to benefit humanity.

Amrita School of Arts and Sciences located in the sprawling and serene Brahmasthanam Temple Complex at Mysore, is leaping towards boundless glory and fame. The campus has excellent landscape abundant with trees and gardens. The School offers two post graduate (P.G.) and three under graduate (U.G.) programmes under the Computer Science and Business Management departments. Amrita School of Arts and Sciences provides separate hostel for boys and girls. In addition to the regular academic programme, the School also provides Cisco Networking Programme for campus students. The School has become one of the most sought after centre for higher education under the Amrita University.
