      Nitte Usha Institute of Nursing Sciences was established in 1992. It is one among the few reputed institutions offering nursing education in Karnataka. The College started with Diploma (GNM) and Graduate programs and in 2004, introduced Postgraduate programs. It is affiliated to the Nitte University and is recognised by the Indian Nursing Council (INC), Government of India.
