      About Besant Womens College, Mangalore

      In 1943, Women’s National Education Society (WNES) took over the management from the theosophical Society, and the school entered a new era of rapid progress, bringing into its ambit, a higher secondary school, a pre university college and a co- education evening degree college. In June 1977 , was born Besant Women’s College.
