A group of youngsters who were deprived of the opportunity to attend college, during regular hours due to economic and other reasons and were working in theatres, Hotels, Shops and other small jobs, some primary school teachers and young farmers who longed for further education approached Sri K.V.S through Sri H. A. Venkatadasu, former Secretary PET and requested him to provide them an opportunity to continue their education through the establishment of an 'Evening College' Sri K.V.S discussed the matter with friends and associates, approached the university of Mysore and with their permission started PES Evening college in 1969, through introducing PU course.
