Located in Keeping in view that to develop Hyderabad Karnataka Region Late Shri. Mahadevappa Rampure, who was an educationalist, efficient politician and Late Shri Veerendra Patil, who was the former Chief Minister of Karnataka State and freedom fighter Late Shri. Chandrashekar Patil had all planned to establish an institution in this backward area i.e., Hyderabad Karnataka region so ultimately the perspiration of these great personalities. The HKE Society was established in 1958, with the primary objective of providing higher education to students of the region, mostly in technical and vocational areas. At the same time the higher education was very costly and there were no any private institutions for all the students of this area.So keeping in view that so many centres have been opened around the Hyderabad Karnataka region, like in Bidar, Gulbarga, Raichur and in Bangalore. At the same time the forbidden tree planted in Chincholi on the commemoration of his mother Smt. Chinnamma Basappa Patil by the Chief Minister of Karnataka State. Shri. Veerendra Patil whose generous, donations made possible the founding of the college. Then this college is named as Smt. Chinnamma Basappa Patil Arts and Commerce Degree College, Chincholi, which is currently affiliated to the Gulbarga University and it was granted permanent affiliation by the UGC in 1997., Chincholi is one of the taluka among 10 talukas in Gulbarga district. This taluka situated at neighbouring State of Andhra Pradesh of Tandur and Zaheerabad and Bidar border., Chincholi is made for nature's beauty. Here it is situated at the boundary of Andhra Pradesh. And here we find the thickest forest area. Here we find the trees like Sandalwood, Neem, Mango, Tamarind and some other medicinal plants. And in this taluka we find all the necessary different stones for the construction of the house and these stones are exported to different states of our country. In this beautiful atmosphere only we find a river called Mullamari and at the same time we find two dams which are constructed recently at Chandrampalli and at Nagaral and these dams are more helpful in giving the irrigation supply to the formers till date. And most of the students of this region that if they wanted to pursue their education earlier they used to go to far places like Gulbarga and Hyderabad. But at the same time being Chief Minister of Karnataka Hon'ble Sri. Veerendra Patil planned to establish a degree college at his native on the commemoration of his mother and he donated the money to HKES to establish a college at his native., Vision, To realise the need in imparting higher education in this backward region, encouraging the poor, supporting depressed and uprighting the neglected students of rural background with harmonious blending of actions, emotions and Intellect., Mission, The mission of the institution is to create social awareness to place the student's in the mainstream of the society ennobling discipline, self respect, self-reliance and motivating leadership qualities in students..
