Shree Sharana Nuliya Chandayya Dr.B.R Ambedkar Smarak First Grade Arts & Commerce College, Gangadhar Nagar Hubballi.-was established in 1994 by the great efforts of Late Shri Krishnappa G Gokak. He was a great visionary who dream to transform this rural and backward area through primary to higher education. The founder of the institution worked with a holistic attitude, dedicated and patriotic zeal, wished to impart quality education in and around Hubli. Today, this college has earned a very good reputation and is striving hard to uplift the Nomadic and Semi-Nomadic people and weaker sections of the rural area. Now, the college has grown to greater heights providing ample opportunities to the underprivileged and agricultural class of population to pursue education. It is a matter of pride and prestige that, the college has encouraged “Youth Empowerment” and is constantly engaged in nation-building activities. The college aims towards “Ethical Education” and the curriculum is being taught with added moral values. The staff and teaching fraternity is putting their best to train the students to meet the challenges of the world. The college is known for its hard work and excellence. The faculty and students are extremely proud of its past and present achievements. Our student population are from underprivileged and challenged communities belonging to SC/ST/OBC, economically backward classes and the majority are female students.
