Vijaya Evening College is the third evening college to complete fifty years. It is the largest evening college in the country with the strength of 1200 students. Affiliated to Bangalore University, the college is celebrating its Golden Jubilee in 2016. It offers courses in B.A, B.Sc. and B.Com wherein it is the only premier evening college in Karnataka offering B.Sc. It provides quality education to all sections of society, particularly championing the cause of economically weaker sections and working enthusiasts.

It is the most preferred college for students pursuing Chartered Accountancy Course to complete their graduation in Commerce. Since its inception in 1966, the college has been promoting value based education in tune with the growing demands of the industry and inculcating human values. It fosters social responsibility among students and focuses on continuous improvement through comprehensive feedback. Having strong and dedicated alumni strength, the college aims at greater achievements. The students are placed in various multi-national companies and government sector offices during placement drives.
