St. John's Pharmacy College is located in the beautiful and thriving area which is popularly known as UPSC Hub or Education Hub. The college which is located in Vijayanagara is a neighbourhood in Southwest Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. It derives its name from the Vijayanagara empire that flourished in South India during the 15th and 16th centuries. It is bound by Mysore Road and Magadi Road, with Chord Road cutting through. It is the northernmost area in South Bangalore.

Pharmacy profession is an integral part of health care system. It is expanding up the horizon and setting a new trend with respect to the educational system and career opportunities. The position of pharmacist is probably the most equitable of all professions today. India's pharmaceutical sector is expected to touch US$ 74 billion in sales by 2020 from the current US$ 11 billion.
