      Sri K.Venkatapatheppa College of Education was established in 1980 with the approval of NCTE, New Delhi and duly recognized by Government of Karnataka and also affiliated to Bangalore university, Bangalore.

      Vision
      The institution aspires to provide quality teacher education to enlighten emancipate and empower the rural down trodden student teachers fraternity and foster life long learning, brining values, community citizenship and leadership qualities among the pupil teachers.
