Under the leadership of the Children’s Education Society ® by Shree.S Narasa Raju, established with the purpose of preparing full pledged nurses, there by rendering services to our health care delivery system. The present intake is 60.The Oxford School of Nursing offers Nursing & Midwifery Courses. These courses are recognized by Government of Karnataka, Karnataka State Diploma in Nursing Examination Board (K.S.D.N.E.B.), Karnataka Nursing Council (K,N.C.) Karnataka & Indian Nursing Council, (I.N.C)., The General Nursing & Midwifery is 3 Year & 6 months Full time Course, leading to the awards of Diploma in Nursing & Midwifery. It is a stepping-stone to a rewarding and enriching profession. The opportunities that exist can be in various specialized Hospital, Clinic and Nursing Homes both in India and Abroad. The Oxford School of Nursing offered excellent facilities for theoretical knowledge and clinical experience. Its well-qualified and experienced teaching staff offers an ideal blend of high academic quality and practical knowledge. School has good Library with latest Books & Journals., For Clinical experience our school had been affiliated to Sri Jayadeva Institute of Cardiology, Indira Gandhi Child Health Science hospital, MIND Psychiatric Nursing, St.Mary’s Hospital, Banashankari Maternity Centre, Prabha Eye Clinic & Research and we also send the students to visit various institutions like St. John’s Hospital, Water Purification Centre, Old Age Home, Blind Home, Leprosarium, Bangalore Milk Dairy, Isolation hospital, Remand home, Indian Nutrition Institute at Hyderabad etc, apart form this we have our own “The Oxford Hospital”. For Community Health Nursing experience our School has been affiliated to Singasandra PHC, and Urban Lion’s Family Welfare Centre, Gavipuram Guttahalli.
