Late. Sri. M.S.Ramaiah, a noted entrepreneur, industrialist, philanthropist and visionary started in 1962 with his own resources, M.S.Ramaiah College of Arts, Science and Commerce, with the laudable and worthy objective of establishing institutions of academic excellence for students from all over India and the world. This pioneering move was undertaken by him on the realization that very often, brilliant, motivated and committed students were unable to pursue further studies in their individual fields of interest because of their inability to obtain admission in the limited Government run colleges. The college is affiliated to Bangalore University / P.U. Board & recognized by the Government of Karnataka. With this, mission our esteemed institution M.S.RAMAIAH JUNIOR & DEGREE COLLEGE was established in the campus of Jnana Gangothri (Spring of knowledge) with the dream to " Build a better world for a better tomorrow ", by providing quality education to those who lack opportunities and to contribute to the general well being of the society.
