First he established the M.S.Ramaiah Institute of Technology., In december 1979, Sri M.S.Ramaiah entered another new field, by setting up the Gokula Education Foundation (Medical) Trust. The M.S.Ramaiah Medical College was started in the same year. Simultaneously, the development of the M.S.Ramaiah Hospital was undertaken, and by 1986, it was ready for the patients, with over 1,000 beds and a dedicated team of highly qualified specialists.
