BMS College of Law was established in the year 1963 by Sri. B S Narayan, Donor Trustee, BMSET, under the ageis of BMS Education Trust. The Trust is named after Dharmaprakasha Rajakaryaprasaktha Sri. B. M. Srinivasaiah, whose vision brought about the foundation of the first private Engineering College in the State of Karnataka.
