This region though rich inheritor of a marvelous heritage-social, cultural, educational and religious, is ever drought prone leading to economic shackles. One way to break-out of this shackle was education.

Bagalkot was fortunate enough to see such a visionary in Shri Gurubasava Mahaswamiji of Bilur. The B.V.V. Sangha, the seed sown by him in 1901 in the form of a Samskrit Pathashaal, has grown in to a mammoth beehive. It runs, now, more than 100 different educational institutes viz Medical, Engineering, Basic Science, Arts, Commerce, Law, Management etc.,

B.V.V.Sangha was established with far sighted perception of Shri.His Holiness Gurubasava Mahaswamiji of Bilur.It was started as Sanskrit Patashala to give'sanskara' to our children through valuae based education. Which is the need of the hour where valuaes are fast disappearing in the modern sociaty.Our Sangha is doing yeoman service in the field of education. The main motto of Sangha is to up hold the values,commitment for excellence in higher education.Since the inception of Sangha it is rendering stupendous contribution in the field of education with having 117 institutions.Sangha growing tremendously with blessings of Lord Gurubasava,committed and honest members and dedicated faculty of our institution.Iassure you that our Sangha helps in over all development of students with all necessary facilities.So, I welcome whole heartedly one and all to our institution. It is our belie that "what we do for ourselves die with us.What we do for others and the world remains and are immortal".
