The catchment area of the college is very vast and student from the areas like Khag, Poshkar, Narbal Kunzar, Hanjiwera, Khor, and Wadwan register themselves in this college for BG courses., The college is currently offering only Arts courses but the college administration is working on introducing Commerce and Science and Technology related courses in the coming years., Although Govt. Degree College is presently functioning in make-shift arrangement in Govet. Boys Higher Secondary, Magam but the new and permanent campus is almost ready. The new college campus comprises of 74.18 Kanals having separate Academic, Adminstrative and Library blocks.
