Doctor of Philosophy (PhD Journalism And Mass Communication)

The PhD programme in Journalism & Mass Communication broadly covers all major areas related with journalism, mass communication print and electronic media, new media, media and cultural studies, communication studies, film studies and development communication. The programme aims at the study and investigation of issues and problems in the concerned field to develop an insight for the fruitful research findings to help not only the area of study but to implement these findings for the development of the profession and the society.

Procedure :

Through entrance examination to be held twice a year in June and December. Net qualified candidates are exempted from entrance examination.
