Course Information & Syllabus
The Aeronautical Engineering course trains the students in the design and development of structural components. The course explores new areas and creates new avenues in the field of Aircraft structural components and focuses on developing talented engineers in the new technologies and business management skills. The field of activity of a qualified engineer involves development (construction, analysis and testing), priming of work, fabrication and observation of the functionality of Aircraft and Helicopter structures.
Salient Features :
Under the TIFAC-CORE project of the Government of India, the department has acquired specialized electronic equipment for training the students in avionics engineering. The acquisitions include the following:
=> Ultrasonic flaw detector
=> Bore scope Instrument
=> Multi functional display system
=> Global Positioning System
The exposure to electronic warfare technology together with the thrust on reliability and maintainability of aircraft systems complement the advanced features of the course.
