The Vasan Eye Care network is a premier institution of eye care hospitals in the country that has been making a difference to over 5 million patients every year, making it a household name in South India today. With a network of over 60 hospitals spread across Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh and Kerala, Vasan Eye Care is a household name in the southern states of India. Its first hospital was established in 2002 in Trichy. Towards its vision to bring quality eye care within the reach of every Indian, the network has been expanding rapidly. The aim is to have 100 hospitals in all by the end of 2011 making Vasan the world’s largest eye care provider.
