Government Industrial Training Institute chintpurni at nehrian was established in 2007. there are three Trade running Under NCVT i.e. dress making, fitter, surface ornamentation techniques embroidery.

The courses in Government Industrial Training Institute chintpurni at nehrian have an objective of imparting skills in various vocational trades to meet the skilled manpower requirement of industry are affiliated to National Council for Vocational Training NCVT, through the Directorate General of Employment and Training DGET, Government of India in the DGT Ministry of skill development and enterpreneurship New Delhi. The Directorate of Technical Education, Vocational and Industrial Training, Himachal Pradesh at Sundernagar is having the Administrative Control of its functional units in this institute. as The Department of Technical Education, Vocational & Industrial Training is responsible for providing Technical Education, Vocational& Industrial Training in the State at various levels i.e. ITI/VTC’s- Craftsmen Trade Course for skilled workers.
