Himalayan Institute of Computer Science is one of the most prestigious institutes in the field of computer education in the region which covers Himachal Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab, Uttrakhand, and Union Territory of Chandigarh. It was established in the year 2007. It is a self financing institute established and promoted by MaaSaraswati Educational Trust. The course is approved by AICTE, Ministry of HRD, New Delhi, and H.P. Government and affiliated to H.P.
