      Govt Industrial Training Institute Shillai was established in the year 2002 with two trades COPA Computer Operator and Programming Assistant and Carpainter vide Govt. of Himachal Pradesh, Department of Technical Education order no. EDN TE A 1/5/2002 Dated 11/07/2002. Carpainter trade closed due to no admissions, the COPA trade is running successfully.

      ITI Shillai is 65 kms from Paonta Sahib.This institute was started in the year 2002 by the Department of Technical Education, Vocational & Industrial Training, Government of Himachal Pradesh with the aim to provide vocational training to large number of rural youth.
