DAV Girls College Kosli was started in July, 1993 as a mark to tribute to Maharishi Dayanand Saraswati a great sage and seer, who played a vital role in promoting the education of women and assuring them an equal status with men in society. Inspired by the lofty ideas of the Maharishi Dayanand Saraswati, an eminent citizen and social worker of kosli area, late Sh. Rao Ram Narain Ex-Minister, undertook this project under the banner of Garmin Kshetriya education Society, Kosli. The society acquired 17 acres of land put up a magnificent building for the college. There upon DAV CMC was invited by Shri Rao Ram Narain to run the institution and DAV CMC is grateful to the society for its valuable support in running the college smoothly. In keeping with the noble ideas of D.A.V. College Trust and Management Society, New Delhi, the institution aims at dispelling darkness of ignorance and disseminating the light of knowledge and wisdom.

It caters to the development of the young students and is pledged to turn out from its portals the finest educated young women. Kosli is situated on Mohindergarh Rohtak Road, 30 Km from Jhajjar, 35 Km from Rewari. It has easy reach connectivity. Its premises comprise of spacious building, well kept and sprawling lawns, play grounds, computerized library, offices, staff room, lecture rooms and computer laboratory- thus, well equipped for all academic, sports, co-curricular and extra- curricular activities throughout the year.

The college has permanent affiliation of Indira Gandhi University, Meepur, Rewari, Haryana. It has been granted the status of Grant-in-Aid institution by Government of Haryana for B.A. w.e.f. 1st January, 2009.

Our Mission
Education has a two-fold function to perform in the life of a person, the one is service to society and the other is to upload our valuable culture. We must enable a woman to become more efficient and achieve with increasing facility the legitimate goals of her life by adopting this quintessence of life. Education must also prepare and lead the young women towards swift, steadfast and effectual thinking, views and judgments.
