About PDM College of Engineering

To give impetus to higher technical education, to meet futuristic global standards, to instil high patterns of discipline and character building, to make students technically strong, in short to improve the total quality of life is what PDM is all about. With this core goal in mind, the Prabhu Dayal Memorial Religious and Educational Association (PDMREA, popularly referred as PDM) came up with its first Institution named PDM Polytechnic in 1995-96. And then came up PDM College of Engineering in July 1999, PDM Public School in 2003, PDM College of Pharmacy in 2004, PDM Institute of Engineering & Technology at Karsindhu, Safidon (Jind) in 2005, PDM College of Education & Ultra modern PDM Dental College & Research Institute in 2006. A new Institute, PDM College of Engineering for Women will open its gates for the students in the coming session. Today it is a well established institution spread over 65 acres of land in absolutely pollution free surroundings. The Association has achieved astounding success in the field of education in a short span of time and it plans to add new educational courses every year so that quality education in every field becomes available under one roof for the PDM College of Engineering was established in the year 1999 in the memory of Late Sh. Prabhu Dayal Ji keeping in mind the increasing demand for technical education in Haryana. The noted philanthropist devoted his whole life to the upliftment of the different sections of society. Born in 1938, Sh. Prabhu Dayal led a life of never ending struggle. Just nine days after his birth, the cruel hands of destiny rudely snatched his revered father. By dint of his hard work, he completed his formal education and dedicated himself to the service of humanity. In his strife torn life, he not only reached the highest level of education but also exemplified a rare degree of administrative acumen. By attaining an administrative position characterised by honesty & integrity, he became a paradigm of administrative excellence. As an administrative officer, he discharged his official duties in various capacities. he fulfilled his onerous responsibilities by implementing various welfare schemes.
