GNM, ANM & MPHW is conducted by Directorate Of Medical Education And Research Haryana (DMER), Panchkula.
Procedure for admission to Govt. and Private self-finance school offering GNM, ANM and MPHW(M) courses in the state for 100 % seats For academic session 2016-17.
The Government of Haryana has decided that admission to Govt. and Private Self Financing Nursing Schools and MPHW(M) schools of Haryana against 100% seats by centralised online counselling to be conducted by Directorate of Medical Education & Research, Haryana following the State Government Reservation Policy.
- The online counselling for admission to above-mentioned courses will commence from 17-08-2016. The criteria for admission/basic qualification for admission to the nursing courses are as prescribed by Indian Nursing council and as prescribed by the State Government for MPHW(M) Schools Criteria. No offline application will be accepted
- The admission would be done strictly as per merit limited to the seats allocated to respective institutes for session 2016-17 by the Indian Nursing Council for Nursing courses and only for the number of the seats allocated by the State Government for MPHW(M) schools.

Interested candidates should fulfill following eligibility criteria:
General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM)
- Minimum and Maximum age for admission will be 17 and 35 years. There is no age bar for ANM/LHV.
- 10+2 class passed preferably science (PCB) & English with an aggregate of 40% marks.
- 10+2 in Arts (Mathematics, Biotechnology Economics, Political Science, History, Geography, Business Studies, Accountancy, Home Science, Sociology, Psychology) and English Core/English elective or Health Care Sciences-Vocational Stream only, passing out from recognised Board under
AISSCE/CBSE/ICSE/SSCE/HSCE or other equivalent Board with 40% marks.
- 10+2 Vocational ANM under CBSE Board or other equivalent board from the school and recognised by Indian Nursing Council with 40% marks.
- Registered as ANM with State Nursing Registration Council.
- Student qualified in 10+2 Arts and Science examination or Health Care Science-Vocational Stream only conducted by National Institute of open school with 40% marks.
Auxiliary Nurse Midwifery (ANM)
- The Minimum age for admission shall be 17 years on or before 31st December of the year in which admission is sought.
- The maximum age for admission shall be 35 years.
- The minimum educational requirement shall be 10+2 in Arts (Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology Economics, Political
Science, History, Geography, Business Studies, Accountancy, Home Science, Sociology, Psychology, and Philosophy) and English Core/English elective or Science or Health Care Sciences-Vocational Stream only passing out from recognised Board.
- Student qualified in 10+2 Arts or Science examination conducted by National Institute of open school
Multi Purpose Health Worker (MPHW)
- The minimum age for admission shall be 17 years on or before 31st December of the year in which admission is sought.
- The maximum age for admission shall be 35 years. The age relaxation will be applicable as per Haryana Government Policy.
- 10+2 with any stream.
- The criteria for admission, the list of eligible institutions, school wise allocation of the seats, instructions for admission mode of payment etc. is available on www.merhryadmissions.in. Interested candidates may apply online on www.merhryadmissions.in for admissions to Govt. and Private Self financing Nursing Schools and MPHW (M) Schools of Haryana from 17.08.2016 up to 24.10.2016 (midnight).
- Interested candidates may apply online from the official website www.merhryadmissions.in for admissions to Govt. and Private Self financing Nursing Schools and MPHW(M) Schools of Haryana on or before the last date of application i.e 24 Oct 2016 (midnight). Candidates are advised must ensure their eligibility and other conditions before filling the online application.
