J&K Paramedical / ANM GNM 2025 will be conducted on the exam date decided by JKBOPEE. The Jammu and Kashmir Common Entrance Test for admission to 12th Based Paramedical and other Diploma Courses (JKCET Paramedical) is a state-level nursing entrance exam specifically designed for admission to 12th-based Paramedical and other Diploma Courses. This examination is conducted by the Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examination (JKBOPEE).
It facilitates admissions to various programs including ANM, GNM, Paramedical, and other Diploma Courses such as Medical, PharmaAsstt., Lab Assistant, Dental Assistant, Ophthalmic Assistant, X-Ray Assistant, ECG Tech., Anes. Tech., Sanitary Inspector, OTT Tech., ISM, Dialysis Tech., D.Pharmacy, Physiotherapy Asstt in both Government and Private Para-medical Colleges of the Union Territories of J&K/Ladakh.

Eligibility For Admission To: ANM GNM
A candidate must:
(i) be a domicile of UT of J&K/UT of Ladakh as the case may be (For Candidates belonging to
UT of Ladakh, ST certificate issued by Competent authority of Ladakh shall be treated as
Domicile certificate);
(ii) be 17 years old and not more than 35 years of age as on 31-12-2025.
(iii) have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized Board with Science/Arts and
English securing minimum aggregate 40% marks for Open Merit Candidates and 35% marks for Reserved Category candidates;
(iv) have passed 10+2 with English having 40% marks in Vocational ANM course from Schools
recognized by INC/Vocational stream in Health Care Science from a recognized CBSE
Board/Centre;
(v) be a Registered ANM with pass marks;
(vi) be medically fit;
b. The candidates appearing/appeared in 10+2 (12th Class) examination 2025 can also apply, provided such candidates have to qualify 12th class examination on or before the date of declaration of the result of the Common Entrance Test / or on or before the date of counseling as may be notified by the Board, otherwise their candidature shall be cancelled ab-initio. Their Entrance Test result shall
remain withheld unless they produce the necessary certificate of qualifying the 10+2 (12th Class) examination;
B. ANM Course:
A candidate must:
a.
(i) be a domicile of UT of J&K/UT of Ladakh as the case may be( For Candidates belonging to
UT of Ladakh, ST certificate issued by Competent authority of Ladakh shall be treated as
Domicile certificate);
(ii) be 17 years old and not more than 35 years of age as on 31-12-2025;
(iii) have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized Board with Science/Arts and
English securing minimum 40 % marks in aggregate;
(iv) be medically fit.
(v) have qualified in 10+2 Arts or Science examination conducted by National Institute of Open
School can also apply.
b. The candidates appearing/appeared in 10+2 (12th Class) examination 2025 can also apply, provided such candidates have to qualify the 12th class examination on or before the time of declaration of the result of the Common Entrance Test / or on or before the date of counseling as may be notified by the Board, otherwise their candidature shall be cancelled.

This is the JKCET Paramedical exam pattern.
The exam pattern is as follows
- Mode of Exam – The exam is a Offline test.
- Question type – The questions are Multiple choice objective.
- Number of Questions – There are 120 questions in the entrance exam.
- Total Marks – Maximum marks in the exam is 120.
- Exam Duration – The entrance exam is of 2 hours.
- Language of Question Paper – The question paper is in language English.
Marking Scheme –
- Candidates get +1 marks for correct answer.
- And negative marks is -0.25 for incorrect answers
