Library is the heart of an academic institution. In higher education research work plays an important role in academic progress of the teachers and students. As our college is not a recognized research centre, our teachers join research at other centers. The teachers need research material handy and so college library plays vital role. The researcher from any discipline finds our library rich as far as reference books are concerned. Our library has a good collection of books.The library contains books for various levels of study viz. Under Graduate, Post Graduate and research work. The under graduate library contains books which support the students to undergo prescribed syllabi towards a three year degree course. It also contains prescribed books and reference books for post graduate students and researchers. We update our stocks regularly. Every year the librarian makes allocation of funds as per the needs of the students, teachers and research scholars. However, for the last fifteen years, computers have usurped the status of library and the students and teachers prefer to internet and other resources for study material. In spite of this, our library keeps on expanding its stocks regularly.Our college does not have separate departmental libraries but we have a very spacious library where we have kept and maintained rich treasure of books of various disciplines. The library has a separate vast reading room for students with a sitting capacity of 100 students. The room itself is large and having necessary infrastructure.
