L.B. Rao Institute of Pharmaceutical Education & Research is located in Khambhat/Khambat, Gujarat. The college was established in the year 2004. It is affiliated to Gujarat Technological University and is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). L.B. Rao Institute Of Pharmaceutical Edu & Research is a self-financed college that offers all the basic amenities within its campus. Currently, it is offering courses in the pharmacy, at undergraduate (B. Pharm) and postgraduate (M. Pharm) levels.

Today Pharmacy profession is not confined to industry alone. It has expanded immensely and there are a lot of opportunities in Clinical Research, Nanotechnology, Drug Discovery, Molecular Biology, Phytochemistry and so on. Pharmacy discipline has grown tremendously and recent advances in technology have created plenty of job and research opportunities. Recent innovations have revolutioned the process of drug discovery and development. The LBRIPER is student-centric and ready to face the global challenges of the Pharmacy profession.

To make the students competitive and on par with their international counterparts we have well-equipped laboratories and excellent infrastructure. Some of the advanced analytical instruments like U.V-Visible Spectrophotometer, HPLC etc. alongwith machines for manufacture of various dosage forms will enable the students to acquire hands on experience. Our faculty members are well-qualified and experienced and have adopted modern teaching techniques. Our animal-house facility is registered by CPCSEA and large medicinal plant garden enriched with many genuses of various medicinal plants. Excellent library facility and database like e-Journals is our key feature for successful academic progress and learning.

Guest lectures by external visitors, national seminars, workshops, industrial visits are conducted at regular intervals to update the knowledge of the students. Co-curricular activities and sports add to the overall development of the learners. The institute prepares the students to face the challenges of today to meet the demands of the industry.
