      JG College of Commerce was established in the year 1999, It has been accredited by NAAC with B+ grade and is also 9001 :2000 certified. It has been given 2(F) accreditation by UGC., It is one of the most reputed commerce colleges of Ahmedabad and has been ranked among the top five colleges by India Today survey. The college is focussed on imparting multi-fold education with heavy emphasis on employability and good career for its students immediately after B.Com. The M.Com section, which was started in 2005, is preffered and popular choice for students who wish to persue their Masters in Commerce.
