"A Bird Can Fly Only When It Is Given A Sky" similar is the motto of our Mass Communication Department. Here students are taught about how they can be a good journalist. Along with the syllabi which include all the crucial aspects of Mass Communication like Cyber Media, FM, Radio, Media Law, Graphic Design, Reporting , Anchoring etc. , the students are developed with the analytical approach so as to understand the important aspects of news creation.

Searching of News is the essence of journalism , that is the reason why students here are taught about how to search for the news, make the news, edit it and finally telecast it. For the same purpose students of the department are associated with channels like DOORDARSHAN, where every week they telecast their programme under the supervision of Mr. Subhash Gupta, Head of Department, and the learn the various technicalities of the profession.

In recent future the department is also planning to release a newspaper from the department in which all the functions will be performed by the students themselves. Thus, here starts the journey for budding professionals in the field of Journalism and Mass communication.
