Institute of Management Training and Research (IMTR) now steps into its 31st year of knowledge of sharing. IMTR has pioneered Management and Training programmes all over the country as well as in the state of Goa.

Established in 1981, IMTR has been designing need-based Training programmes for Central Government Officers, Corporate bodies and Educational Institutes. It commenced the part-time PGDBA programme in the year 2000 to cater to the needs of working executives as well as fresh Graduates.

MTR has pioneered Management and Training programmes all over the country. IMTR's carefully crafted programmes upgrade skills, knowledge and attitudes of professionals across the country. From 1981 to 2013, the journey has seen the Institute's programmes broadening the versatility of Senior Government Officers including Scientists & Technologists from every corner of the country.

The last 3 decades saw IMTR, the oldest management and Training Institute in Goa, conducting a slew of Management Development programmes. The Institute specializes in Behavioral, Attitudinal and Performance Enhancement programmes and has conducted over 3000 programmes in the last 30 years. The Institute also runs an executive MBA programme & a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration (PGDBA) along with other programmes and has positioned itself as a premier Adult Training Institute.

The Institute comes under the umbrella of the Vidya Vikas Mandal Trust with Shree Damodar College of Commerce & Economics, R.M.S. Higher Secondary School, G. R. Kare College of Law, Vidya Vikas Academy and IGNOU study centre being the other sister Institutions.
