Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University College of Engineering Anantapur is located in India. It's one of the three Constituent Units viz. with JNTUA College of Engineering and Pulivendula and Oil Technological Research Institute in Anantapur. It was started in 1946 and in 1972 became a constituent college of the University.

Gudlavalleru Engineering College is the vision of Late Sri Vallurupalli Venkata Rama Seshadri Rao, the man behind the college. It was started in the year 1998 by the AANM & VVRSR Educational Society with an intake of 180 students, and the current intake is 1140 in UG B.Tech and 336 in PG M.Tech and MBA.

G. Pulla Reddy Engineering College, the Pride of Kurnool town, was the brainchild of Sri. G. Pulla Reddy, the renowned philanthropist and a great humanist. His love for education, though he himself is poorly educated by modern standards, and care for his native district manifested themselves in the form of this college. DVR College was established by the Devarakonda Educational Society and it is affiliated to the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad(JNTUH), Hyderabad, Telangana State and approved by AICTE, New Delhi, India.
