IIMM Jamshedpur started way back in 1975, operating from the office of the then Manager Purchase of Tata Steel Mr. H.S. Vazifdar. The prominent team members were Brig. R. Heerjee, Mr. Arnold Mathias and Mr. A. K. Perti. Later the office was shifted to ‘Golmuri Club’ at Tinplate, Golmuri. The Education began at "Golmuri Club" where classes were held till 1994.
